Færøyværing sweater, knitting kit

Yarn and pattern for a light and soft Islender sweater in 2-ply yarn from Norwegian white sheep. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. Suitable for both men and women.

Designed by Ragnhild Lie, with inspiration from an old photo from the Faroe Islands.

You can vary the expression very much based on color choices. For example you can choose the same color for dots as on the cuff and neck ribbing, or netting and cuff and neck ribbing. We add enough color to the packages so that you can choose for yourself. The yarn is very soft and light.

Knitting needles
Approx. 2.5 mm for rib and 3.5 mm for stockinette stitch with pattern.

Gauge
24 stitches on 10 cm.
Knit a swatch to check your gauge, wash in cold or lukewarm water (wool wash). After drying, measure the washed swatch to find the correct needle size.
