Blanket, plant dyed herringbone pattern

Blanket with wool from Norwegian white sheep and/or Ol Norse sheep, woven in a herringbone pattern. After fringing and finishing, it is plant-dyed: blue with indigo, yellow/green with tansy, red tones with madder root and pink with cochineal.

Ideal for everyday use, it fits nicely on the sofa where it will keep you warm and cozy.

Approximate size: 220x140cm.

White/grey Norwegian white sheep
White and grey crossbred wool in the warp and in the weft.
This quality is softer and slightly lighter than the one with a blending of the Old Norse sheep wool. The blanket has an even surface.

White with grey Old Norse sheep
A mixture of white crossbred wool in the warp and in the weft, and our yarn Låvebrua, light grey yarn from our Old Norse sheep on the farm. The cover hairs from Old Norse sheep make the blanket nice and robust. The stripes are a bit narrower on this quality and the surface of the blanket becomes more wavy.
