Package with yarn and knitting pattern for a sweater.

The French Tourist sweater is knitted from top to bottom with stripes in a contrasting colour. The jumper is a wide model with approx. 10 cm positive ease and is knitted in stockinette stitches with a double neckline, and rib at the bottom.

You can choose between two sleeves; either a classic trumpet sleeve or a more practical regular sleeve with the same ribbing as on the body.

The sweater was designed by Solveig Elton Jacobsen, fashion designer and administrative manager at Lofoten Wool. It is inspired by Coco Chanel and sailor suits. Lofoten Wool has its headquarters in the barn on the farm, in the same building as the sheep's barn, and the shop is visited by tourists from all over the world.
