Scarf, plant dyed herringbone pattern
This scarf has a white and/or grey crossbred wool from Norwegian white sheep in the warp and in the weft. It is woven in a traditional herringbone pattern. After fringing and finishing, it is plant dyed at the farm: We use ‘Madder’ for red, pink/purple with cochineal or Indigo for blue.

White/grey Norwegian white sheep
White and grey crossbred wool in the warp and in the weft. This quality is softer and slightly lighter than the one with a blending of the Old Norse sheep wool (below). The scarf has an even surface.

White with grey Old Norse sheep
A mixture of white crossbred wool in the warp and in the weft, and our yarn Låvebrua; light grey yarn from our Old Norse sheep on the farm. The cover hairs from Old Norse sheep make the scarf nice and robust. The stripes are a bit narrower on this quality and the surface of the scarf is wavier.
