Fine black 1 ply yarn from Spæl sheep in Lofoten.

Spæl sheep have thick warm undercoat closest to the skin and cover hairs that together create a fabulous yarn. The yarn is well suited for clothing and smaller garments.

The children's vest in the picture weighs 114 grams, and is knitted with Liten STORM and Kort NATT. For an adult size, approximately 200 g is needed.

The yarn has the same thickness as Fin SAND, Liten STORM, Tynn TARE and Sterk STORM.

In the picture with different color combinations, the dominant color changes randomly. If you want an even color, always hold the colors in the same way on your finger. The colour that is closest to you is more visible.
