STRÅ, 1-ply, 110/220g, Anno 2022

Robust sheep white wool yarn made from Spælsheep, anno 2022. 1-ply yarn with some extra spin: the yarn fits nicely around the knitting needles while you knit. This also gives a slightly more lively expression.

Core wool, which provides warmth, and cover hair, which provides durability, are spun together into a solid round thread. When finished washing, you get a slightly hairy surface. 

The yarn is well suited for knitting ragg socks and robust mittens and sweaters. On the  KRÅKEFOT socks in the picture it is used approx. 1.5 skeins = 330 grams.
