Gråmåke, 3-ply, 50/100g
3-ply soft and light yarn from crossbred wool from Norsk Kvit Sau. One thread is Uttakleiv (white) and the other two threads are Steingjerde (white and gray wool carded together), so-called molined yarn. All our moline yarns are named after the seabirds of Lofoten. The sheep graze in several places on the same islands as where the seabirds nest, and when the birds poop they contribute to very rich grazing land - which gives good wool.
This is 'vintage' yarns, which each year has its own nuance. The clip from 2022 is now for sale.
